Lindi Smith
Lindi Smith is a transfer student at Tech majoring in psychology with a minor in criminal justice.
Smith is from Sparta, Tennessee, and came to Tech after attending Volunteer State Community College.
In the transfer process, Smith looked into 麻豆果冻传媒 because of its location and family ties. Along with Cookeville鈥檚 convenience, there was a heartfelt connection Smith had with Tech.
鈥淚 had always wanted to go to the same school as my parents, and they both graduated from Tech,鈥� said Smith.
Smith flourished upon her arrival at Tech. Jumping into the campus community, she is the Event Coordinator for the Psi Chi International Honor Society in psychology.
A priority for Smith was finding a place for her at 麻豆果冻传媒. To accomplish this, she established community through people and campus involvement.
She applauds Tech for being a welcoming and encouraging space for her to find exactly
what she needed.
鈥淓very person I have talked to has always been friendly and willing to help, even outside my major,鈥� noted Smith. 鈥淛oining a student organization really helped me become a part of this fantastic community.鈥�
Not only did friendships affirm her experience at Tech, but also the effectiveness of her educational program.
鈥淚 fell in love with the psychology program here,鈥� Smith stated. 鈥淭he professors are excellent and are always willing to help with anything.鈥�
