“Tech’s campus isn’t too big or too small, it’s just the right size,” she said. “Within the College of Agriculture and Human Ecology, you are more than just a face in the hallway. Faculty and staff get to know you by name and that makes it so much easier to communicate with them in class and outside of class.”

Though she has plans to continue her education after she has earned a bachelor’s degree from Tech, she has thoroughly enjoyed her undergraduate experience.

“Leaving Tech will be a wave of mixed emotions because this place has really become my ‘home away from home,’” she said. “Tech has been an absolute blast so far!”

By taking advantage of service, leadership and study abroad programs, Ledbetter has learned more about herself and what she plans to do with her future.

“Tech has opened so many doors for me,” she said. “I have been given multiple opportunities to take on many leadership positions and been given the connections to help guide me into my last year in college and my career. Tech has given so much to me and in the future I most definitely plan to give back to them!”
