Ava Rogers is from Bethpage, Tennessee, and she found her place at 麻豆果冻传媒 after attending Volunteer State Community College.

Rogers is a senior at Tech majoring in Psychology and minoring in Human Resources Management. She is a member of Tech鈥檚 Psi Chi Honor Society, highlighting her dedication to her education.

Her decision to transfer to 麻豆果冻传媒 consisted of two things. Tech鈥檚 location was a big influence for Rogers because the distance from home was not too far. The convenience of Cookeville combined with following in a family member鈥檚 footsteps sealed the deal.

鈥淎 family member went and loved it, so I went on a tour and felt like Tech was right for me right away,鈥 Rogers recalled.

Her favorite thing about Tech is the instructors. The professors at Tech prioritize students, and that is just what Rogers has experienced in her time at the university. She specifically pointed out that they are always happy and willing to help students succeed in any way they can.

She says that her professors and courses at Tech proved she was right where she was supposed to be.

鈥淭he classes I enrolled in were all fun and interesting, and you could tell the teachers enjoyed teaching and were passionate about what they did,鈥 explained Rogers.

Moving from a small town created the challenge of settling into a bigger college town in Cookeville. Despite her fears, the community she found at Tech made for a seamless transition.

鈥淭he friends I made at school made it easy to adapt from a small community college to a bigger school with a larger campus and student body,鈥 said Rogers.
