Theses & Dissertations: Appendices
You may or may not have an appendix/ces depending on your content. Always start an appendix on a new page and use the page break function to insert a blank page; do not use the Enter key multiple times.
Each appendix should be referenced at least once by its full title in the body of the paper.
Type the title of the appendix on the top line (in all caps). If you only have one appendix, label it "APPENDIX: TITLE OF APPENDIX." If you have more than one appendix, your appendices will be labeled sequentially starting at A and continuing with B, C, etc. (e.g., "APPENDIX A: TITLE OF APPENDIX"). Be sure to label this title as a page title heading to format it properly; see Content/Chapters for more information about headings.
