Center Stage
The Center Stage series brings lectures, concerts, exhibits, performances and more to Tech鈥檚 campus to promote appreciation for fine arts and a better understanding of diverse ideas and world cultures. Guests often include artists, authors and thought leaders on various topics. Often, these guests provide educational opportunities for students through master classes, workshops and classroom engagement. Admission to Center Stage events is free and open to the public unless otherwise noted and students are given priority seating.

Backdoor Playhouse
For more than 60 years, the Backdoor Playhouse at Tech has staged productions ranging from Sophocles and Shakespeare to contemporary to works of contemporary playwrights. Located in the Jere Whitson Building, The Backdoor Playhouse is home to the English department鈥檚 Tech Players, offering productions each semester and hosting open mic nights and other events throughout the year.

Calendar
Activities hosted by student groups and organizations as well as university-hosted events can be found on the university calendar. Events on campus or hosted by campus groups can be added to the university calendar by event hosts.
Athletics
麻豆果冻传媒 is home to 14 NCAA Division I teams belonging to the Ohio Valley Conference. Men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams compete in the 9,852-seat Hooper Eblen Center while the Golden Eagle football team competes on Overall Field in Tucker Stadium. Home matches for all Golden Eagle athletics events can be attended for free by university students with a valid student ID.
Music Performances
Experience live music in the Wattenbarger Auditorium of the Bryan Fine Arts Building. Performances happen almost nightly during the semester with student, faculty and guest recitals. Most programs are free and open to the public with the exception of Bryan Symphony Orchestra, Mastersingers and other special guest events as indicated.

Student Organizations
Hundreds of student organizations and Greek chapters at Tech offer something for every interest. Whether students are looking for groups to network with within their major or finding other students with similar hobbies, student organizations can be a great way to connect and present opportunities to be active on campus and in the greater university community.

Intramural Sports
Through Intramural Sports, Tech students, faculty and staff have the opportunity to participate in team sports and compete against each other in a recreational atmosphere. More than 20 leagues, tournaments and contests are offered during the fall and spring semesters. Active sports include volleyball, basketball, ultimate frisbee, tennis, softball, racquetball, soccer, table tennis, kickball, flag football and more.
