2025 Summer music institute information and registration
The School of Music at Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ invites you to our inaugural event,
Kaleidoscope: A Music and Theatre Showcase.
This fundraiser for the School of Music and Theatre Program will be hosted at 37 Cedar
on Cookeville's Historic West Side on Sunday, March 9 from 2-5pm. The ticket price
is $35 and includes heavy appetizers, beer and wine, and student performances.

One of the first degree options in the US that focuses the entire curriculum on audio
engineering for live events!
Students will be trained for careers in the live performance industry such as sound
for touring artists, large houses of worship, musical theatre, the marching arts and
for large outdoor music events.

Ensembles & Studios
The School of Music offers a full complement of bands, choirs, orchestras, jazz bands, and chamber ensembles which are open to both majors and non-majors.
Faculty
Our exceptional faculty of artist-teachers represent all band and orchestral instruments, piano, voice, and guitar. We offer classroom instruction in music education, music theory and composition, music history, and conducting.
Our distinguished faculty are dedicated to excellence in teaching and performance, and provide a rich educational experience for our students.
Bryan Fine Arts
All classes and ensembles are housed in the Bryan Fine Arts Center, which boasts a five hundred seat concert hall (Wattenbarger Auditorium), a small recital hall, a keyboard and computer music lab, smart classrooms, rehearsal spaces, faculty studios, and administrative offices.
