Drum Major Academy

The TN Tech Drum Major Academy is a three day camp that focuses on providing affordable and customized instruction to current and aspiring drum majors.

Our camp features 3 distinct tracts of drum major training; one for solo drum majors, one for drum major teams, and one for aspiring drum majors. Every student will get the same fundamental conducting and leadership training, and each track will also get specialized attention on aspects that apply to their unique situation.

In addition, we highly encourage each drum major to bring along a score from his or her own show to get one-on-one advice that keeps their band鈥檚 structure in mind.

2025 Dates: Thursday, June 26th - Saturday, June 28th, 2025
Ages: Those going into 10th grade and above (at least 14 years old)
Tuition: (includes 2 night dorm stay and all meals)
$299: Early Bird Registration (ends May 2nd)
$349: Regular Registration (closes June 8th)

CAMP DATES: Thursday, June 26th - Saturday, June 28th, 2025

Camp Check-In will take place on Thursday, June 26, from 11:00 a.m - 12:45 p.m. Central Standard Time at the dorm hall. More information will follow when the dorm has been decided. (Pizza will be provided for lunch on Thursday.)

- Read, Sign and NOTARIZE the Participant Information & Release Form (This form can be sent back to us via email OR brought with you on check-in day.)

Check-Out will take place on Saturday, June 28, from 4:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. CST at Bryan Fine Arts Building on 1150 N Dixie Ave Cookeville, TN 38501. Luggage will be picked up from the same building.
