The Bartoo Botanical Society

This organization seeks to bring students together through a common interest and desire to learn more about plants. The group is interested in all aspects of botany, including plant systematics, horticulture, molecular biology, conservation, and education. The Bartoo Botanical Society is a recognized chapter of the , the preeminent professional society for plant science in the United States. Faculty advisor: Dr. Shawn Krosnick.


Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta)

Beta Beta Beta () is the national biological honor society for students, particularly undergraduates, and is dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending the boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research. Tennessee Tech University has an active student chapter with monthly meetings. Faculty advisor: Richard Pirkle. 


Biology Graduate Student Society

The BGSS is made up of graduate students in the Biology M.S. program and the Environmental Science-Biology Ph.D. program.


Student Fisheries Association (SFA)

The Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Student Fisheries Association (SFA) was established in 1988 with the hope of uniting students interested in the fisheries profession. The Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ SFA is part of the Tennessee Chapter of the American Fisheries Society. The Association actively participates in the Tennessee Save-Our-Streams project, the annual Kid's Fishing Derby, as well as various other activities. The Wildlife Society (TWS)

Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ has an active student chapter of The Wildlife Society. The TWS student chapter holds meetings once per month and participates in numerous activities including assisting with deer check stations, cleaning up at local parks, and competing in the annual student conclave. Faculty advisor: Dr. Steven Hayslette.
