Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Policy 144, Title IX Policy and Grievance Procedures
Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Policy 144, Title IX Policy and Grievance Procedures prohibits sexual
misconduct including sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic
violence, and stalking. If you have questions, concerns or wish to file a discrimination

• There is no fixed time frame under which Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ must complete a Title IX
investigation. Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ will make a good faith effort to conduct a fair, impartial
investigation in a timely manner designed to provide all parties with notice of a
resolution.
• Complaints of sexual misconduct must be made within 365 days of the last incident
of sexual misconduct, absent extraordinary circumstances.
• Discrimination and harassment allegations that are not within the scope of Tennessee
Tech Policy 144 are subject to the procedures described in Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Policy 141,
Prohibited Discrimination and Harassment.

Retaliation
Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½, its officers, employees, agents, and students are strictly prohibited from retaliating, intimidating, threatening, coercing, or otherwise discriminating against any individual for exercising his/her rights or responsibilities under this policy.
