After nearly two decades of service, 麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 current Human Resources and Finance applications and products platform 鈥 known throughout the university as Banner Human Resources and Banner Finance, will transition to a new cloud-based solution called Talon.  Given the central role that the current modules play in processing of Tech鈥檚 business activities, the university administration has already started transitioning to the new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, known as Talon.  We expect the Talon project to be completed in the next 18 months with implementation of Human Capital Management (HCM) and Business/Financial Systems in January 2026.

Why are we doing this?

Today, the computer systems used in finance and Human Resources utilize a complex combination of computer software, data standards, and work processes. A move to a modern cloud-based platform gives 麻豆果冻传媒 the ability to use an integrated system that promotes real-time communication, data entry efficiencies, enhanced security, automated workflows, and evolving technologies. Talon is the name selected for this new system and represents 麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 continuing journey towards operational excellence.

Guiding Principles

Thank you, Governor Lee and Legislators

The Tennessee General Assembly passed a historic budget in April 2022. Among other items, it allocated $50 million in nonrecurring funding for the UT System and $120 million in nonrecurring funding for other public universities to implement a new common ERP solution. Of the $120 million, each Locally Governed Institution (LGI) including 麻豆果冻传媒 will receive $20 million to assist with the implementation. Thank you to our legislators and Governor Bill Lee for making this important investment in public universities across our state. This key investment will transform the way we do business.
