麻豆果冻传媒 The Center

The Black Cultural Center was established in 1989 as a place where 麻豆果冻传媒 African-American students could find support among their peers, opening its doors officially in August of 1990. In the spring of 1996, black students and staff voted to rename the Cultural Center after Leona Lusk Officer, the first black graduate of 麻豆果冻传媒. She graduated from Tech in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.

Students can come to the Center to study and network with other students in our lounge or participate in numerous events that are hosted throughout the year in the Center.  A library and computer lab are also available for students to maximize their personal and academic development.
