Our Goals:

  • Establish an integrated sustainability-oriented system for landscape development utilizing multiple resources presently available, i.e. storm water, food waste, composting, and plant production. Building and grounds will measure this by documentation
  • Increase species diversity and tree canopy. Tree inventory has already been recorded by the Facilities Department, and increased diversity was recorded on Arbor Day 2019 when 270+ trees were planted
  • Promote collaboration between the various academic departments for research and development, i.e. Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, and Engineering. Students in different academic departments will help in monitoring, inventory, and overall tree care

Requirements:

To obtain this distinction, 麻豆果冻传媒 has met five core standards for sustainable campus forestry required by Tree Campus USA

  • Establishment of a tree advisory committee
  • Evidence of a campus tree-care plan
  • Dedicated annual expenditures for its campus tree program
  • Observance of Arbor Day
