What is Tree Campus USA?
Tree Campus USA is a program started by the to help colleges and universities around the country establish and sustain healthy community forests. Our Goals:
- Establish an integrated sustainability-oriented system for landscape development utilizing multiple resources presently available, i.e. storm water, food waste, composting, and plant production. Building and grounds will measure this by documentation
- Increase species diversity and tree canopy. Tree inventory has already been recorded by the Facilities Department, and increased diversity was recorded on Arbor Day 2019 when 270+ trees were planted
- Promote collaboration between the various academic departments for research and development, i.e. Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, and Engineering. Students in different academic departments will help in monitoring, inventory, and overall tree care
Requirements:
To obtain this distinction, 麻豆果冻传媒 has met five core standards for sustainable campus forestry required by Tree Campus USA
- Establishment of a tree advisory committee
- Evidence of a campus tree-care plan
- Dedicated annual expenditures for its campus tree program
- Observance of Arbor Day
- Sponsorship of student service-learning projects

麻豆果冻传媒 was officially recognized as part of Tree Campus USA at the Arbor Day Celebration in 2019. Also on this day, was a celebration of planting 270+ trees throughout the 2018-2019 school year.
