Screen Updates
As we continue adopting Watermark for our faculty achievements database, we will continue to revisie screens to improve faculty experience. Below are a list of updates that have been made based on feedback from Phase 1. To suggest an update or screen revision, please contact watermark@tntech.edu.

Annual Goals & Planning
Over the summer of 2024, several changes were made to the Goals & Planning screen as a result of the 2023 evaluation cycle and the implementation of the workflows for 2024. As a result, the reflection boxes, additional text boxes, and overall format of the screen has changed. Changes are below.
- Reflection Boxes: The reflection boxes have been removed from each goal as a result of the reflection being built into the workflow process. Faculty can add a description for their goal in the description box, and then will be able to reflect on their goals once they begin their Faculty Evaluation workflow in December.
- Anticipated Activity Boxes: The anticipated activity boxes have been removed as a result of feedback from the 2023 cycle and overall useage of the screen. Any anticipated activities will be highlighted in the workflow so that goals can remain the focus of the annual goals and planning screen.
NOTE: If you previously entered 2023 / 2024 goals, we have a copy of your entry and will be adding your information back in to populate the screens prior to the 2024 evaluation period. If you would like a copy of your data, or would like to add the data back in for yourself, you are welcome to do so.
Publications
Over the summer of 2023, several changes were made to the Publications screen. The main change beign the addition of a "Citations" area within each publication.
Co-Instruction / Team Teaching
Based on feedback from Phase 1, a Co-Instruction/Team Teaching screen was created for those courses that are not captured in the Scheduled Teaching as a result of the faculty member not being listed as the primary instructor in Banner. The Co-Instruction/Team Teaching screen contains the same data fields as the Scheduled Teaching screens and the information will be pulled for all reports. Unlike the Scheduled Teaching screen, the Co-Instruction screen is not automatically populated from Banner. Faculty who wish to use this screen to list co-instructed courses, will need to add the information for their courses manually.
