Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP)

The Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) is a university club that connects students with technology, management, analytics, and more. AITP is perfect for students who are interested in a career in business and information systems and wanting to connect with professionals in the industry. Although Business and Information Technology students comprise the majority of the membership, all business students are encouraged to join. Computer Forensics and Investigations

Computer Forensics and Investigations (DS4125) introduces students to the world of digital forensics. Computer Forensics is relevant to all areas of business, criminal justice, human resource management, computer science, and many other fields. Students develop skills working in a state-of-the-art forensic lab, solving cases using forensic methodologies. These cases include the use of steganography, cryptography, password cracking, recovery of deleted data, and analysis of digital artifacts. The class is designed to appeal to both technical and non-technical students who have a basic understanding of computer software (DS2810 or equivalent). Eagle Works

Eagle Works is an annual competition held by the 麻豆果冻传媒 Center for Rural Innovation in which 麻豆果冻传媒 students can create, develop, and present entrepreneurial ideas for a chance to win. Students of any college, department, or discipline are invited to dream big and enter the shark-tank style competition to potentially receive funding for their team鈥檚 proposal. Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools. Inducted as students, BGS members go on to serve in critical leadership roles in corporate, entrepreneurial, government, non-profit, and academic sectors. Membership in this organization represents national recognition of academic achievement. Membership is by selection and invitation, and those eligible include students who rank in the upper 7% of the junior class, the upper 10% of the senior class, and the upper 20% of the graduate class. Induction is in the spring semester, during which students are recognized at an annual induction ceremony and banquet.
