Step 1: Set Up Your TechExpress Account
Your Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ account is used to log into TechExpress, where you can access email, Eagle Online, the scholarship application, schedule appointments with your advisor, and more. To get started, click the link below and follow the instructions.

Step 2: Explore TechExpress
TechExpress is a powerful resource you'll use often! You'll find all your most-used
Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ resources, including your Tech email, Wi-Fi password, T-Number, University
news and events, the campus directory, and so much more. TechExpress also automatically
logs you into all campus websites. You won't need to remember multiple usernames and
passwords for different sites; as long as you're logged into TechExpress, you're good
to go!
Eagle Online: This is the student portal you will use to access class schedules, financial aid,
and other student information throughout your college career. To access Eagle Online,
with your Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ username and password and click the Eagle quickLink.
Tech Email: Every new student at Tech is given a Tech email account. Your email will be the primary communication method for Financial Aid, Scholarships, and more, so keep your eyes peeled for exciting updates. To access your email, (if you aren’t already logged in) and click the Mail quickLink.
Step 3: Apply for Scholarships!
Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ has a single scholarship application that automatically puts you in the running for over 675 scholarships, many of which are renewable for up to four years. Be sure to apply as early as possible!
To complete the University's scholarship application, new students must be admitted to Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½. Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½'s scholarship application must be completed each year.
The scholarship deadlines are listed below:

- Transfer Students - May 1 for the next Fall semester (January 15 priority deadline)

Applying for scholarships is done through your Tech Express portal. Once you , select the ‘ScholrWeb’ quickLink icon to access Scholar Web and begin your scholarship application!
Step 4: Submit Your FAFSA
In order to be eligible for financial aid, you must have a FAFSA on file. This is something you must do every year as a college student, but it is particularly important to ensure you get as much aid as you can in your freshman year. To automatically send us your FAFSA information, add Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ to your FAFSA application using our official code: 003523.

Step 5: Accept Your Scholarships
Being awarded a scholarship does not mean you automatically receive it; you must either accept or decline the award before the deadline, given on the award letter or email, in order to secure it. Make sure you check your Tech email often for notices of awards. You can check your award status and accept scholarships by going to and selecting the "ScholrWeb" quickLink.

Step 6: Apply for Housing
One of the most exciting parts of your college experience is living on campus! We have 15 residential halls available, as well as Tech Village apartments, so you can find the best fit for you.

Step 7: Register for Orientation
Orientation is your next step in the enrollment process, including registering for classes. The Office of New Student & Family Programs has created a variety of orientation programs for new students and their families to help ease your transition to campus. During orientation, you will learn about campus resources, academics, advisement & course registration, and life as a Golden Eagle.
The following documents are required before attending orientation:

- Verify Selective Service (if male and 18+)
- Apply for Housing (if living on campus)
