麻豆果冻传媒 Pride Days are here
It鈥檚 that time of year again! 麻豆果冻传媒 Pride Days are here and run through Sept. 2, which is the first scheduled football game where the Golden Eagles will take on Samford. Purple and gold yard signs are available that say 鈥溌槎构炒 Pride鈥 and incorporate the university鈥檚 logo.
鈥淭ech Pride Days is about welcoming new and returning students back to campus and the community,鈥 said Bobbie Maynard, Executive Director of Communications and Marketing. 鈥淲e are using a new design this year, featuring the university鈥檚 logo, because it was so popular the last couple of years.鈥
To help the community celebrate, Tech Pride yard signs are free and available for pick up on campus at the Crawford Alumni Center and at the Campus Information Desk and University Bookstore inside the Roaden University Center. Signs are also available for pick up in the community at the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce in the Leslie Town Centre.
鈥淲e encourage all local businesses to participate in Pride Days by creating purple and gold window or lobby displays, having a Tech Pride message on their marquee or having their employees where Tech colors,鈥 said Maynard. 鈥淥ur students are such a vital part of the Cookeville community, and we want to help businesses celebrate that.鈥
Pride Partners are local businesses that support the university by offering some form of a yearlong Tech discount to students, faculty and staff. There is no charge or fee to become a Pride Partner, and the discounts are listed on the university鈥檚 web site. New Pride Partners are accepted throughout the year.
