Degree Details

Physics is the most basic science of the universe. It involves the study of everything in physical existence, from the smallest subatomic particles to the entire universe as a whole.

Students will have two options with a major in physics: Option I for students who wish to pursue graduate study in physics, or a closely related discipline. Option II for those who wish to enter immediate employment or pursue graduate study in an interdisciplinary field. All physics majors also earn a minor in Mathematics
