The first and only program of its kind in the state, the hybrid MAcc program was designed to allow students to simultaneously earn a Master鈥檚 degree and sit for the Certified Public Accountant鈥檚 (CPA) exam. The goal of the program is to prepare students for successful careers in accounting, with an emphasis on professional certification and fundamental business skills. 麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 MAcc program represents the first hybrid Master of Accountancy program available in the state of Tennessee. While the majority of the program鈥檚 content will be delivered online, presenting a unique benefit to working professionals, the program is 鈥渉ybrid鈥 in nature in that online content will be supplemented with two weekend residencies over the course of the program.
Admissions Requirements
Admission to the Master of Accountancy program is open to qualified students with a bachelor鈥檚 degree and a major in accounting (or the equivalent) from an accredited institution. This is an online program; be sure to check the evaluation criteria details below for more information on whether you鈥檙e eligible to take online courses with 麻豆果冻传媒.

Students seeking full admission to the Accountancy graduate program are required to have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Students who do not meet these requirements may be admitted on provisional standing if they meet the minimum requirement of an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

State and federal laws require colleges and universities to be authorized to offer online degree programs in states other than their own. If you do not see your state listed, you will be unable to enroll in any online programs offered by 麻豆果冻传媒.
Once the program is at capacity (25 students), the above minimum application requirements for both full or provisional admission do not guarantee acceptance into the MAcc program. Consideration is given to the applicant鈥檚 work experience and other activities that demonstrate potential for successful completion of the program. Final decisions will be made by the MAcc Admissions Committee, whose members are the College of Business Graduate Program Director; the MAcc Coordinator; the Chair of the Accounting Department; and two Accounting Department faculty.
