Faculty Innovator Showcase

The Second Annual Faculty Innovator Showcase, in collaboration with , is a dynamic event where faculty can present their groundbreaking inventions and research to a diverse audience, including key industry and government representatives. This is an exciting opportunity to connect with potential partners and gain recognition for innovative work.

Presenting faculty who submit their invention disclosure by the deadline will receive $1,500 in non-instructional pay. Those without a disclosure will receive $1,000. . To attend this free event (no presentation), .

Event Details

  • Date: Wednesday, April 23rd
  • Time: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Location: Memorial Gym (part of Research Day)
  • Open To: Faculty presenters. The campus community and public are invited to attend the event.

Showcase Highlights

  • Faculty Poster Session (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM): Faculty will present their work in a tradeshow-style format, engaging with attendees and sharing insights into their research and innovations.
  • Faculty Presentations (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM): Each faculty member will have the opportunity to deliver a 7-minute presentation highlighting their projects and inventions.
  • VIP Luncheon (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM): A special luncheon for faculty participants, industry leaders, and government representatives to discuss innovations, opportunities for collaboration, and potential funding.
