Dr. Huo assists the Provost in a variety of academic activities. She serves as the university鈥檚 SACSCOC Liaison and oversees accreditation and assessment activities at the university. She coordinates the undergraduate academic program initiatives and modifications. As Associate Provost, Dr. Huo oversees activities mandated through THEC鈥檚 Quality Assurance Funding program such as academic program reviews and student learning and engagement assessments. She supervises the Office of University Assessment, Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, Quality Enhancement Plan, Faculty Development, and Undergraduate Research (URECA). Dr. Huo is a Professor of Civil Engineering with specialties in structural engineering and a licensed Professional Engineer.
